We are currently looking for someone to manage import of food/ nutraceutical/ pharmaceutical ingredients in Mumbai. We are looking for someone who is organized, adventurous and up for a challenge. Responsibilities
- A person interested in the field of supply chain and having a fair understanding of the various terminologies associated with imports
- Coordinating with Suppliers related to Shipment and also see to it that shipments are scheduled on time as per requirement
- Arranging documents required for clearance of the material
- Coordinating with CHA on the various aspects connected with the shipments.
- Negotiating with various vendors connected to the supply chain and making sure the payments are as per agreed terms
- Coordinating with the banks on L/C issuance, Document presentation, Rate booking, Banking charges etc.
- Maintaining Hard Copies of all import files with proper recall capabilities.
- Maintain and update all supplier-related product documents
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of personal integrity and professionalism.
- Should Possesses good organization skills.
- Knowledge of Spectrum/ Tally account software.
- End to end use of Excel to maintain track of all shipments.
